A 10-year-old boy, who was kidnapped from a village in Rajasthan earlier this week, was rescued from Guna district in Madhya Pradesh by police and one particular person was arrested, an official stated on Saturday.

The boy, recognized as Rameshwar Lodha, was kidnapped from his dwelling in Baran district on the intervening night time of Monday and Tuesday, the police stated.

The accused subsequent day demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh from Lodha’s household, Baran SP Ravi Sabharwal stated.

Throughout investigation, police came upon that the 10-year-old boy and the accused have been in Guna district in Madhya Pradesh.

On Friday, police arrested Shivraj Meena (50) whereas his associates managed to flee, the official stated.

Meena has 27 felony instances lodged towards him in a number of police stations in Madhya Pradesh, police added.
