Mathura:
A 10-year-old lady was allegedly raped by a teen in a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district, police mentioned as we speak.
The lady had stepped out to purchase some groceries from a close-by store on Saturday when she was waylaid by the youth and raped in a lonely place, they mentioned.
The youth can be from the identical village.
An FIR has been lodged by the lady’s father beneath related sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
The accused has been arrested and despatched to juvenile custody, police mentioned.
The lady has returned residence to her dad and mom after a medical examination, they added.
