An 18-year-old man was shot twice in his leg allegedly after he requested an individual to maneuver his automotive, which was not parked correctly, in south Delhi’s Chhatarpur space, the police stated at the moment.

The incident befell on Sunday when the sufferer was having road meals along with his mates, they stated.

The police stated that they acquired info on Sunday at 10:07 pm relating to gunshot accidents to an individual.

“Throughout inquiry, it was discovered that an injured Prabhpreet Singh, a resident of Chhatarpur, acquired two bullet accidents in his proper leg and was rushed to AIIMS,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Atul Kumar Thakur stated.

Within the hospital, the person acknowledged that he, alongside along with his mates Raman and Sujal, was having “golgappas” close to an election workplace, Mr Thakur stated.

After the incident, each the accused fled the spot, the police stated. A case below related sections has been registered.

One of many accused Chetan, 22, was identified to the complainant, the DCP stated.

Throughout investigation, the automotive used within the crime was recovered and Chetan was arrested. He’s being interrogated, the police stated.

One other accused — recognized as Manoj, 40 — is on the run. Three instances have been registered towards him, the police stated, including that raids are being carried out to arrest him.
