The primary batch of the Russian vaccine towards COVID-19 is predicted to be launched inside two weeks, Well being Minister Mikhail Murashko mentioned on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the Russian Well being Ministry registered the primary coronavirus vaccine on the planet. The vaccine, named Sputnik V, was developed collectively by the Gamaleya Analysis Institute and the Russian Protection Ministry.

“Inside two weeks, the primary batch of the vaccine shall be launched,” Murashko mentioned at a press convention.
