Mumbai Crime Department has arrested two folks for allegedly making e-travel passes with solid paperwork amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown, an official stated on Saturday.

They’ve been recognized as Ravindra Dhige (39) and Namdeo Dhige (25), and hyperlinks to the Pune collectorate had been being pursued to nab accomplices, the official added.

“Appearing on a tip-off, personnel from Crime Department Unit VII known as the accused requesting for e-travel passes. The accused quoted Rs 5,000 for 2 individuals, and Rs 1,000 was levied because the traveller didn’t have legitimate paperwork,” he stated.

“A policeman posing as a traveller transferred Rs 1,000, and promised the remaining quantity after getting the move. A lure was laid in Bhandup and one of many accused was held when he got here to ship a move that was issued from Pune Rural. The second accused was held quickly after,” he added. They had been remanded in police custody until Thursday, the official stated.
