Kolkata:

Two individuals had been killed and one other significantly injured after crude bombs, which had been stored in a shanty, exploded in Kamarhati within the northern outskirts of Kolkata on Sunday, the police mentioned.

The blast occurred round 5.30 pm and it partially broken a shanty within the congested Dhobighat space close to the India Foils manufacturing facility, Barrackpore senior police official Manoj Kumar Verma advised PTI.

Three individuals had been discovered mendacity contained in the shanty after the blast, he mentioned.

They had been taken to the Sagar Dutta Medical School and Hospital and two of them had been declared introduced lifeless, he added.
