No less than 23 individuals had been killed and 29 others injured after being struck by lightning in numerous districts of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

In keeping with an official assertion, eight individuals died in Allahabad, six in Mirzapur, two in Kaushambi and one in Jaunpur.
