Shimla:
Three males have been arrested for allegedly gang-raping a lady in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district, police stated on Saturday.
The 22-year-old girl had been gang-raped in a village falling underneath Haroli sub-division on Friday, Haroli sub-divisional police official (SDPO) Anil Kumar stated.
The police official instructed information company PTI that the incident was reported to the police on Saturday and all of the three accused had been arrested thereafter.
All of the accused and the sufferer are from the identical village, he added.
The police official stated the matter was being investigated.
In the meantime, Congress Legislative Occasion (CLP) chief Mukesh Agnihotri, who represents Haroli Meeting phase, termed the gang-rape as shameful for ‘devbhoomi’ Himachal Pradesh.
