Six NSCN(IM) insurgents have been killed in an encounter with safety forces in Khonsa space of Arunachal Pradesh early on Saturday morning, navy sources stated.
One soldier of Assam Rifles was injured within the operation and his situation was said to be secure, they stated.
Khonsa is in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh, and at a distance of 50 km from Tinsukia, a number one industrial city in Assam.
