The authorized and legislative committee of Kuwait’s Nationwide Meeting has permitted the draft expat quota invoice which may lead to eight lakh Indians leaving the nation.

The Nationwide Meeting’s authorized and legislative committee has decided that the draft expat quota invoice is constitutional, Gulf Information reported citing native media report.

The Invoice, in response to which Indians mustn’t exceed 15 per cent of the inhabitants, is to be transferred to the respective committee so that a complete plan is created.

The outlet reported that ”this might lead to 800,000 Indians leaving Kuwait, because the Indian group constitutes the most important expat group in Kuwait, totalling 1.45 million.”
