The decomposed physique of a 40-year-old AIIMS physician was discovered at his rented lodging in south Delhi’s Hauz Khas space on Friday afternoon, the police stated.

The police acquired details about foul scent emanating from a home in Gautam Nagar.

“After reaching the spot, a decomposed physique of a male was discovered hanging in a room on the second flooring. The room was locked from inside. The lifeless individual was later recognized as Mohit Singhla,” senior police official (south) Atul Kumar Thakur stated.

He was doing analysis within the division of Pediatrics in AIIMS Hospital and final attended workplace on Tuesday, Mr Thakur stated.

He was a resident of Panchkula in Haryana and residing alone within the room since 2006, the police stated, including that the continuing underneath part 174 CrPC has been initiated.
