Amarinder Singh has ordered an instantaneous withdrawal of a letter claiming protest by state goverment.

Chandigarh (Punjab):

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has ordered an instantaneous withdrawal of an official letter that incorrectly claimed that some farm protests have been organised by the state authorities.

“The Punjab Chief Minister at this time ordered shifting of the Sardulgarh BDPO to the headquarters and speedy withdrawal of the letter issued by him concerning some farm protests which he incorrectly claimed to have been organised by the State Govt,” learn a press assertion from Punjab Chief Minister’s Workplace.

The Sardulgarh Block Growth and Panchayat Officer (BDPO) had, on his personal, introduced protest dharna on September 21 and issued a letter asking all Panchayat Secretaries below his block to intimate all sarpanches about the identical.

State Govt had neither deliberate such protests towards farm ordinances nor requested BDPO to situation letter, stated the Punjab CMO.
