A lady police head constable on Friday staged a protest close to the Gandhi statue close to district collectorate workplace alleging that an Atmakur circle inspector had sexually harassed her.
She appealed to Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and Dwelling Minister Mekathoti Sucharita for assist as there’s a menace to her life.
She stated, “I’ve complained to the Superintendent of Police with all of the proof. He has despatched his associates to threaten me. He’s saying that he has a political backing of MLAs and MPs and he’ll kill me. I request a departmental motion towards him.”
“A case needs to be filed towards him underneath the Nirbhaya Act, an enquiry needs to be performed and he have to be punished.
