Aqua Line To Resume Full-Fledged Operations From September 12

The Aqua Line connecting Noida and Better Noida will start its full-fledged operations from Saturday with trains after each seventh minute throughout peak hours.

The Metro service between the dual cities had resumed its operations on Monday with curtailed timings after a spot of over 5 months because of the coronavirus outbreak.

“The Aqua Line is all set to renew full-fledged operations from September 12. Which means that the NMRC will run as per the time-table and schedule that was being adopted for the Aqua Line earlier than the lockdown,” Noida Metro Rail Company (NMRC) mentioned on Thursday.

The trains will function from 6 am until 10 pm from Monday to Saturday. The providers on Sunday will start from eight am until 10 pm, it mentioned. The trains will run at an interval of seven.5 minutes throughout peak hours (eight am to 11 am and 5 pm to eight pm) and 10 minutes throughout non-peak hours from Monday to Friday, it said.

Metro trains shall be out there at an interval of 15 minutes on Saturday and Sunday all through the day, it added.

Just one entry or exit gate shall be opened at Metro stations of Sector 81,83, 101, 137, 142, 143, 144, 145, 156, 147, 148, Alpha-1, Delta-1 and GNIDA workplace,the company mentioned.

The place each entry and exit gates shall be stored open are Sector 50, 51, 76, Information Park-II, Pari Chowk and Depot stations.

Metro stations falling in containment zones will stay closed and trains is not going to cease there, the NMRC mentioned.

“This data shall be communicated to the general public by means of public notices, bulletins, on the NMRC web site and cell app,” it added.

The providers on the Aqua Line had resumed after over 5 months of the coronavirus lockdown from September 7. The Metro providers are at the moment being run in two shifts — from 7 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 9 pm — at an interval of each 15 minutes.
