Bengal has written to the Centre, asking that incoming flights from eight cities, the place coronavirus is raging, be stopped from July 6. The record consists of Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur,  Chennai, Indore,  Ahmedabad and Surat, sources stated.

All flights from eight “high-prevalence cities” ought to be stopped, Bengal has stated in its letter to the Civil Aviation Ministry. Flights from different locations ought to be minimize down to at least one per week for every airline.

Flights ought to be restricted to all three airports within the state — Kolkata, Andal and Bagdogra.
