Blood-soaked our bodies of an aged man and a girl had been recovered from their residence at Sonarpur in South 24 Parganas district on Saturday, police mentioned.
Basudeb Ganguli, 76, and his step-daughter Sumita Pandit, 38, had been present in a pool of blood at Sukanta Sarani, when police arrived on the home after a home assist knowledgeable neighbours, they mentioned.
The four-year-old son of Sumita Pandit has mentioned his mother and father had been engaged in a heated argument previous to the incident, in keeping with a police officer.
