London:

Britain’s Defence Secretary Ben Wallace on Tuesday confirmed having seen US intelligence briefings about alleged Russian bounties supplied to Afghan terrorists to kill American troops.

“I’m conscious of the intelligence,” Wallace advised a parliamentary defence sub-committee listening to when requested particularly concerning the alleged Russian bounties.

“I am unable to touch upon intelligence issues apart from to say we take a number of measures to defend and ensure our troopers, women and men of our armed forces, when they’re deployed, are stored secure.”

The New York Instances and different US media stated Washington started sharing its intelligence with London final week.

US President Donald Trump initially denied being briefed concerning the findings and the White Home argued on Monday there was “no consensus” amongst intelligence businesses about their veracity.

Russia has flatly rejected recommendations it will pay Taliban troopers to kill US troops.

However Wallace’s feedback recommend the findings have been conclusive sufficient for america to alert its shut ally concerning the potential risks posed to its personal forces in Afghanistan.

“I do not suppose I might say that there’s any higher hazard (to UK forces) than the hazard they face day by day from Al-Qaeda or certainly different forces in Afghanistan,” Wallace stated.
