Policemen have seized over 256 kg of hashish from an ambulance carrying Private Protecting Gear (PPE) for well being staff engaged in COVID-19 amenities in Odisha’s Ganjam district, police stated.
The car was intercepted on Sunday and two individuals have been arrested, they stated.
The hashish, value round Rs 12 lakh, was packed in 14 baggage and lined with PPE, police stated.
The ambulance was stopped because it was utilizing the siren regardless of not having any affected person inside, police official Prabhat Sahoo.
