Two males have been injured when their automobile fell off a flyover in west Delhi’s Vikaspuri space after allegedly being hit by one other automobile from behind, police stated on Friday.

The accident happened round 11 pm on Thursday, they stated.The victims have been recognized as Anuj (29), resident of Karala and Vijay (29), resident of Begumpur, police stated.

Police discovered that a Honda Metropolis automobile going in direction of Peeragarhi hit one other automobile from behind following which it (Honda Metropolis) fell off the Vikaspuri flyover, stated a senior police officer.

The injured Anuj and Vijay, who have been sitting contained in the Honda Metropolis, have been rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) hospital for remedy.

Later, Anuj, who runs store, was shifted by his family to a non-public hospital for additional remedy, stated Deepak Purohit, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West).

Vijay, a farmer and constructing materials provider, remains to be on the DDU hospital present process remedy.

A case underneath sections 279 (rash driving or using on a public manner) and 337 (inflicting damage by act endangering life or private security of others) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at Vikaspuri police station, he stated.
