Mumbai:

A case has been registered towards a hotelier and 6 of his members of the family for allegedly harassing his spouse in suburban Amboli in Mumbai, police stated on Tuesday.

As per the grievance, the sufferer had married the hotelier in 2007 and the couple had 4 daughters, an official stated.

The accused harassed the sufferer always for not bearing a son and  threw her out of the home two years in the past, retaining the custody of her daughters, the official stated.

Following a grievance, a case has been registered towards the seven accused underneath related sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC), he stated.

No arrests have been made to date, he added.
