A drunk man in Punjab’s Sangrur district attacked his spouse on Sunday with some sharp-edged weapon in full public view in a market, inflicting accidents to her, a police official mentioned.

Upset over some home concern, the accused recognized as Ajaib Singh forcibly took his spouse Veerpal Kaur from house in his cart to a market at Jakhal Street in Sunam space of the district on Sunday morning, police mentioned.
