The Centre has sanctioned Rs 2,000 crore for BharatNet part II programme in Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat mentioned the digital connectivity initiative will revolutionise telecommunication and web connectivity within the state.

The initiative will make the web accessible in 5,991 gram panchayats below 65 blocks unfold over 12 districts, Mr Rawat mentioned.
