The charred physique of a Thai girl was present in a flat in Magdalla space of Surat in Gujarat, police stated on Sunday.
Neighbours of the lady, recognized as Mimmi, discovered flames emanating from her second flooring rented flat within the intervening evening of Saturday and Sunday, an official stated.
“The door of the flat was locked for inside. Her physique has been despatched for autopsy to determine whether or not it was homicide or suicide,” Assistant Commissioner of Police AK Varma stated.
Neighbours stated a lady had visited the sufferer at round eight:30pm on Saturday.
