Chelsea on Tuesday introduced that Ethan Ampadu has joined Sheffield United on a season-long mortgage. “Ethan Ampadu will proceed his growth within the Premier League with Sheffield United after becoming a member of the Blades on a season-long mortgage,” Chelsea mentioned in a press release. Sheffield United supervisor Chris Wilder mentioned he was delighted with the addition of “excellent younger participant” Ampadu to the squad. “Ethan is an impressive younger participant for Chelsea, and we have labored actually exhausting to get his signature for the season,” Sheffield United’s official web site quoted Wilder as saying.
“We have to thank Frank Lampard and the folks at Chelsea for serving to making this occur. We have a superb relationship with them and so they know we’ll take excellent care of him,” he added.
Ampadu had spent final season with the German membership RB Leipzig.
