The Congress on Wednesday hit out on the BJP authorities in Karnataka over the violence in Bengaluru by which three folks had been killed after police opened hearth to quell a mob that went on a rampage irked over a social media put up, and stated it was a “full failure of legislation and order equipment”.

Scores, together with round 50 policemen, had been injured within the violence that erupted on Tuesday night time and continued until the early hours of Wednesday, apparently triggered by the net put up.

Bengaluru violence, riots and arson are “reprehensible, condemnable and unacceptable”, Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala stated.

“Why did police not act in time? Who’s accountable for three deaths?” he requested.

Congress normal secretary in-charge organisation, KC Venugopal, stated the violence in Bengaluru is “unlucky and condemnable”.

“Strict motion must be taken in opposition to these behind the derogatory put up and people who indulged in rioting,” he stated on Twitter.

“Taking legislation into their fingers and destroying public property should not be tolerated. Let peace prevail and let legislation take its course,” Mr Venugopal stated.
