Congress chief in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Monday demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the allegation of Fb’s “complicity” in favour the BJP and stated the Congress won’t permit India’s hard-won democracy “to be manipulated and tarnished”.
Mr Chowdhury stated media articles “have revealed how Fb and WhatsApp have colluded to tarnish India’s democracy”.
He stated “digital imperialism has began” and alleged that there was “an alliance between Fb and BJP”.
