A police official was suspended in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur following a grievance by a 28-year-old girl that she was sexually assaulted by him, police stated on Sunday.
In accordance with police, Sunil Sharma, who was earlier posted on the Kalaan police station, has been prime facie discovered responsible, resulting in his suspension.
Senior police official S Anand stated the lady had complained him virtually a month in the past that she had met the previous Kalaan police station Sunil Sharma for some work.
“However, the cop allegedly sexually assaulted her for nearly a month,” he stated.
