Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at present inaugurated the HAL-IISc Talent Growth Centre (SDC) established at Indian Institute of Science’s Challakere campus in Chitradurga district, 225 km from Bengaluru, by means of a video convention at present.
Talking on the event, Mr Singh stated data is energy and a talented workforce is fundamental necessity for innovation and creativity, in line with a press release issued by Bengaluru-headquartered Hindustan Aeronautics Restricted (HAL).

The MoU for establishing the centre, with an outlay of Rs 73.7 crore was signed on March 28, 2016 and development started on October 27 the identical 12 months.
