A Delhi couple was on Thursday despatched into institutional quarantine centre in Himachal Pradesh after they produced faux COVID-19 damaging certificates, Bimukt Ranjan, Kangra Superintendent of Police stated.

Chatting with ANI, Mr Ranjan stated, “A Delhi couple was caught visiting Dharamshala by producing faux COVID-19 damaging certificates. They’ve been despatched into an institutional quarantine centre.”

A case has been registered in opposition to them and motion shall be taken in keeping with their report, he added.

Mr Ranjan stated Chinese language nationwide was additionally stopped on the Himachal Pradesh border in Kaloha on July eight.

“Final night a Chinese language nationwide was stopped at our border in Kaloha. His function of the go to was tourism, so he was requested to indicate a COVID-19 damaging certificates (inside 72 hours) and 5-day advance reserving at a lodge, as per the state authorities’s pointers.
