A 26-year-old man employed as a home employee was arrested for allegedly stealing jewelry from a home in south Delhi’s Higher Kailash space, police stated on Wednesday.
The accused has been recognized as Mantu Yadav, a resident of Jharkhand, they stated.
On August 16, a resident of Higher Kailash, who’s the sister-in-law of a former Lok Sabha Speaker, lodged a criticism alleging that her home employee had stolen 5 diamond rings, one pearl ring and a gold chain from her home, a senior police officer stated.
Throughout investigation, it was discovered that Yadav was just lately employed by the complainant and he had not supplied his private particulars to keep away from police verification regardless of the employer asking him for the data a number of occasions, the officer stated.
