DRDO can manufacture round 25,000 ventilators every month if there’s a want (Representational)

G Satheesh Reddy, Chairman of Defence Analysis and Improvement Organisation (DRDO), on Sunday mentioned that the organisation has manufactured 70 “Made in India” merchandise to date to combat COVID-19.
Union House Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the DRDO-built Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel COVID-19 Hospital in Delhi Cantonment on Sunday. The momentary hospital construction that has been erected in 11 days, has 1,000 beds together with 250 ICU beds, knowledgeable DRDO officers.
“The hospital is supplied with all of the services for sufferers freed from price in addition to Military personnel will present their providers 24×7. A rubbish dumping land was levelled and cleared to construct the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel COVID-19 Hospital,” G Satheesh Reddy instructed ANI.
“DRDO has manufactured 70 Made in India merchandise to date, to combat in opposition to COVID-19. We will manufacture round 25,000 ventilators every month if there’s a want. We’re able to export them too,” Mr Reddy added.
