An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 was reported close to Jakarta, Indonesia on Tuesday morning, in accordance with India’s Nationwide Heart for Seismology.
The epicentre of the earthquake was 421 km east (E) of Jakarta, Indonesia, the company mentioned. The earthquake struck at four:24:46 AM IST at a depth of 540 km from the floor.
