The districts affected are Ambedkarnagar, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Ballia, Barabanki, Basti, Deoria, Farrukhabad, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Kasganj, Pilibhit, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Mau, Santkabirnagar, Shahjananpur and Sitapur.

Based on the reduction commissioner, the Sharda river at Palia Kalan in Lakhimpur Kheri and the Saryu at Elgin Bridge in Barabanki, Ayodhya and Turtipar in Ballia have been flowing above the hazard mark.

In case of deaths in flood-related incidents, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officers to supply reduction to the members of the family of the victims inside 24 hours, the reduction commissioner added. 

The Chief Minister has additionally requested district magistrates to conduct a survey on agricultural losses as a result of floods. Yogi Adityanath directed officers to arrange shelter properties for cattle.
