New Delhi:
The federal government of India on Friday allowed the export of Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions as much as 10,000 metric tons every, until March 31, subsequent 12 months.
The federal government has put the situation that onions shall be solely exported via the Chennai port.
Informing about the identical, Union Commerce and Business Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted that the transfer will empower farmers and improve their revenue.
“Empowering farmers and rising their revenue, Authorities permits export of Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions of as much as 10,000 MT every,” he stated.

As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Business, the exporter should get a certificates from the respective horticulture officers of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh for export of Bangalore Rose Onions and Krishnapuram Onions respectively, certifying the amount of the exported onions.
