Union Minister for Communications, Electronics, and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad stated that the latest ban on 59 cellular apps together with Tik Tok, UC Browser and different Chinese language apps is a “nice alternative” for Indians to provide you with their very own apps.
“Within the wake of the ban which we now have imposed…I feel it’s a nice alternative. Can we provide you with good apps made by Indians? Let the dependence on international apps, with their very own agenda for a wide range of causes, cease,” Ravi Shankar Prasad stated.
The Ministry of Data Expertise had earlier stated in a launch that it was determined to dam 59 apps in view of the data accessible that “they’re engaged in actions which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the safety of the state and public order”.
