Gujarat Training Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama was conferred with the “finest MLA award” for 2020, whereas Congress legislator Mohansinh Rathva obtained the honour for 2019 within the state Meeting on Thursday.

Gujarat Meeting Speaker Rajendra Trivedi introduced the awards on the fourth day of the state Meeting’s Monsoon session in Gandhinagar.

The state Meeting began these awards for the primary time this yr because the formation of Gujarat in 1960, the Speaker stated.

Each legislators obtained a silver trophy weighing 1.5 kg from Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and different senior leaders within the Home.

Whereas 76-year-old Rathva, a 10-time Congress MLA, represents Pavi-Jetpur seat of Chhotaudepur, 70-year-old Chudasama represents Dholka seat of Ahmedabad.

Among the parameters included data about parliamentary procedures, conduct within the Home and in public life, attendance and cooperation in sustaining decorum of the Home, he stated.

The chief minister congratulated each the senior legislators and stated he was assured that this new custom will encourage different members to stroll within the footsteps of the award-winning MLAs.
