Heavy rain in Mumbai and neighbouring areas since Wednesday morning

Incessant rainfall has been pummelling Mumbai and suburban areas since Wednesday morning. The climate workplace has warned of heavy rain for the following 24 hours within the metropolis. Neighbouring areas of Thane, Raigad and Ratnagiri will even see heavy downpour in the present day and tomorrow, in line with the India Meteorological Division (IMD).

Mr Hosalikar added that northern Konkan, Raigad, Thane, Mumbai and Palghar, components of south Gujarat are “very more likely to obtain intermittent intense spells of rain”.

A warning for very heavy rainfall has been issued for Raigad, Nashik and Pune, an IMD official instructed information company Press Belief of India. Different components of Maharashtra will even obtain mild to reasonable showers, he added.
In response to the most recent climate bulletin from IMD, very heavy rain is predicted in Konkan and Goa from August 13-15. Extreme thunderstorms are very probably at locations in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh in the course of the subsequent 24 hours.
