North and northeast components of the nation will witness intense rainfall exercise from July 26 to 29 as a result of a monsoon trough, the India Meteorological Division (IMD) stated on Thursday.

“Pretty widespread to widespread rainfall exercise with remoted heavy to very heavy falls are very seemingly over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar throughout July 26-28 and over Punjab and Haryana throughout July 27 – 29,” the climate division stated.

The depth and distribution of rainfall could be very prone to improve over sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh with widespread rainfall exercise together with remoted heavy to extraordinarily heavy rainfall throughout July 26-29.
