Hemant Soren has authorised CBI probe into Rameshwar Murmu’s homicide (File)

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday authorised the proposal for a CBI investigation into the homicide of Rameshwar Murmu, a descendant of martyrs Siddho-Kanho, who was killed on June 12, Chief Minister’s Workplace (CMO) mentioned.
Based on the CMO, there was a requirement from a number of social and political organisations to research the killing of Mr Murmu by the CBI.
On this regard, a proposal has been despatched by the Director-Common and Inspector Common of Police, Jharkhand, Ranchi for the Chief Minister’s approval for CBI investigation into the incident.
This incident is registered beneath part 302 in Barhait police station.
The physique of Rameshwar Murmu was present in a subject in Manjhi Tola of Jharkhand’s Bhognadih.
