A businessman who recovered from coronavirus has transformed his workplace into an 85-bed facility to supply free remedy for the poor.
With public hospitals struggling to manage, Kadar Shaikh spent 20 days in a personal clinic final month in Gujarat’s Surat — and was horrified by the invoice.
“The price of remedy at a personal hospital was large. How might poor folks afford such remedy?,” Mr Shaikh, a property developer, advised AFP.
“So I made a decision to do one thing and contribute within the combat in opposition to the lethal virus.”
