India rejected reference made to Jammu and Kashmir by China and Pakistan

India on Saturday categorically rejected the reference made to Jammu and Kashmir in a joint assertion issued by Pakistan and China after talks between international ministers of the 2 nations.
Spokesperson within the Ministry of Exterior Affairs Anurag Srivastava mentioned the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is an “integral and inalienable” a part of India and that it expects the events involved to not intervene within the nation’s inside issues.
“As previously, we categorically reject the reference to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir within the joint press launch of the 2nd Spherical of China-Pakistan international ministers’ strategic dialogue,” he mentioned.
Of their second annual strategic dialogue on Friday, Chinese language International Minister Wang Yi and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi mentioned the Kashmir problem and progress on the so-called China-Pakistan Financial Hall, amongst a bunch of different points.
