Delhi Capitals‘ skipper Shreyas Iyer has been fined for sustaining a gradual over-rate towards SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) within the Indian Premier League (IPL). Iyer has been fined INR 12 lakh as this was Delhi Capitals’ first offence of sustaining a gradual over-rate within the ongoing IPL. “Because it was his crew’s first offence of the season below the IPL’s Code of Conduct regarding minimal over-rate offences, Iyer was fined Rs 12 lakh,” learn an official assertion.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli was fined for sustaining a gradual over-rate towards Kings XI Punjab. He was fined INR 15 lakh.

The match between Delhi Capitals and SunRisers Hyderabad was performed on the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
