Now its the worldwide neighborhood’s flip to counter the illegal push by the US: Mohammad Javad Zarif

Dubai:

The US has no proper to set off the reimposition of all UN sanctions on Iran, the Iranian Overseas Minister mentioned in a letter to the United Nations, calling on members of its Safety Council to reject Washington’s transfer.

“The US push to reimpose UN sanctions on Iran can have harmful penalties…Iran has exercised restraint in good religion ..Now it’s the worldwide neighborhood’s flip to counter the illegal push by america,” Mohammad Javad Zarif mentioned within the letter.

Iranian state TV mentioned the letter had been submitted to the top of the UN Safety Council by Iran’s UN envoy, Majid Takhteravanchi.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo mentioned on Wednesday that President Donald Trump has directed him to set off the ‘snapback’ of all UN sanctions on Iran on the UN Safety Council in New York on Thursday.

In a bid to reimpose the sanctions, america will submit a grievance to the 15-member UN Safety Council about Iran’s non-compliance with the nuclear deal, regardless that Washington stop the accord in 2018.

Mr Zarif mentioned Washington had no proper to set off the snapback mechanism because it was not a celebration to the nuclear pact
