Ivory Coast Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly died on Wednesday aged 61.

Ivory Coast Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly, who was the ruling celebration’s candidate for October’s presidential election, died on Wednesday aged 61, the presidency mentioned.

“I’m deeply saddened to announce that Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly, the top of presidency, left us early this afternoon after collaborating in a cupboard assembly,” Patrick Achi, secretary basic to the Ivory Coast presidency, mentioned on public tv.
