Ramgarh, Jharkhand:
A Jharkhand Police constable from the state’s Ramgarh district was arrested at present for allegedly raping his colleague on the pretext of marrying her, officers stated.
The girl police officer, who’s on the sub-inspector-rank, has alleged that she was repeatedly raped by the 28-year-old constable who had promised to marry her, they stated.
Each of them have been posted on the Mandu police station, some 72 km away from the state capital Ranchi, Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar instructed PTI.
The girl officer lodged a criticism when the constable refused to marry her and married a unique individual, he stated.
The constable was arrested based mostly on the lady police officer’s criticism, he added.
Police stated they’re investigating the matter.
