A child kangaroo, six Macaw parrots, three tortoise and two monkeys have been recovered by the Assam Forest Division on Tuesday because the unique animals have been being illegally trafficked in Assam.

A truck from Mizoram was intercepted by forest personnel round 11:30 pm on Tuesday in Assam’s Cachar district, officers mentioned, including, they’ve detained Narsimha Reddy and Navnath Tukaram Daigude who mentioned that the consignment was headed to Guwahati.
