Eminent Kannada movie director Vijay Reddy, who delivered many blockbusters, died at a hospital in Chennai, household sources mentioned on Saturday, reported information company PTI. Mr Reddy (84) was affected by age associated illnesses following which he was admitted to a personal hospital in Chennai, the place he breathed his final on Friday night time. He left a deep imprint on film buffs together with his movies Gandhada Gudi, Bhakta Prahlada and Na Ninna Mareyalare.
Condoling his demise, Kannada movie actor Puneeth Rajkumar tweeted, “Vijay Reddy, who had directed my father Dr Rajkumar’s films comparable to Gandhada Gudi, Mayura and Na Ninna Mareyalare handed away.” “Praying for the departed soul to relaxation in peace,” added Puneeth.
The actor mentioned he was lucky to have labored within the film Bhakta Prahlada directed by Vijay Reddy.
