French President Emmanuel Macron late Sunday denounced a ‘cowardly” assault on humanitarian staff in Niger and stated he would do every thing to make clear the incident wherein eight folks died.
The French chief, who spoke along with his Niger counterpart Mahamadou Issoufou, added that he was decided to assist counter the “terrorist teams within the Sahel area”.
Officers in Niger stated six of the eight folks killed by gunmen on Sunday had been French nationals.
