Maharashtra Vitality Minister Nitin Raut on Friday demanded that the Centre take all states into confidence with regard to the proposed Electrical energy (Modification) Invoice 2020.

Mr Raut claimed the Union authorities was privatising PSUs through the lockdown and was trying to give “backdoor entry” to non-public entities into the ability sector by amending the Electrical energy Act.

Mr Raut stated Maharashtra State Electrical energy Distribution Firm Restricted (MSEDCL) had suffered losses because of the COVID-19 outbreak and requested the Centre for a Rs 10,000 crore grant.
