A 32-year-old man accused of raping a British lady escaped from the Central Jail in Goa at this time, the police mentioned.

Ramchandran Chennadayellappa, a local of Tamil Nadu, was dealing with trial for allegedly raping the lady at Canacona in South Goa district in December 2018.
